Warm Up With a Drink at Winter Wonderland

Warm Up With a Drink at Winter Wonderland

As the weather gets cold, cozy up with beverages that warm you from the inside out! While you’re out enjoying the Ice Ribbon trail, walking under the Christmas lights, or trying to warm up by the fire, grab a hot beverage to keep you and your fingers toasty.

During the holiday season and the Winter Wonderland extravaganza at the plaza, local businesses adjust their hours, alter the menus, and anticipate your desire to cozy up after a night outside. The best way to show your appreciation for the entrepreneurs that give Caldwell character is to buy a drink and sit at their counter!

With two coffee shops on the plaza, there is more than enough caffeine to keep you skating all night long! Flying M coffeeshop whips out their vegan hot chocolate syrup each holiday season to keep you happy and healthy! With homemade baked goods, and an eccentric gift shop, you can spend hours perusing and snacking in their corner shop.

Bond & Bevel, one of the newer additions to the Indian Creek Plaza, extended their hours to give you and your family more access to their incredible coffee. With their dark, wooden fixtures, golden lighting, and cozy leather couches, it is the comfiest spot to catch your breath. While warming up, feel free to take a look at their axes, camping gear, and handmade leather goods. There’s never a dull moment, or knife, at Bond & Bevel.

In case you, or your kids, need a little sugar boost to keep you going through the cold, Soda Burst is offering hot chocolate and treats throughout their new winter hours! Open in the evenings, this retro pop shop will get you in the small town Christmas spirit.

For the adults looking to warm up with something a little stronger than coffee, there are several places to get a stiff, or Christmas-themed, drink. Looking to sample some wine from the Sunnyslope region? Check out any restaurant on the plaza or one of the wine shops.

The Undiscovered Barrel is an intimate, wine tasting experience for those needing a break from the Christmas commotion. The owner, Darci Feigel, will walk you through a selection from local American Viticulture areas and teach you about the grapes that grow near you! After tasting, wine bottles and accessories are available for purchase.

If you’re looking to experience the Winter Wonderland, but hoping to stay warm, stop by 2C Wine Down, a wine lounge on the plaza! Offering events from Sip and Paints to Music Bingo, there is always something fun for you and your friends at 2C.

Looking to get some Christmas shopping done while you grab a glass of wine? The Cellar is the place for you! Offering hot, mulled wine, along with their regular selection, every weekend at the plaza, The Cellar gives you the perfect excuse to sit down, cozy up, and grab a wine accessory gift for yourself or a friend.

Those who need something a bit stronger to warm them from the inside out are in luck. Shi Sushi and Spirits is offering holiday cocktails to keep you jolly! With chocolate espresso martinis and hot apple cider toddy’s, you can get yourself in the Christmas spirit to keep you skating all night long.

And if you take a spill on the Ice Ribbon trail, there’s no better cure than some beer from White Dog Brewing Company. With something on tap to fit every taste, this brewery will give you good company, fill your belly, and warm your spirits.

So remember, if your hands start shaking and you need somewhere to cozy up, there are several places at the Indian Creek Plaza that are here to serve you. Support a small business and have a great time during the Winter Wonderland!
