It’s that (wonderfully tasty) time of year again – the fruit stands are gearing up to open in Caldwell! We have two fantastic fruit stands in our area, so plan to get on out and enjoy the bounty of Caldwell.
Lakeview Fruit: Set to open July 6th, this fruit stand is located on Karcher Road at Riverside Road. In addition to perennial favorites like cherries, apricots and peaches, Lakeview also carries a fantastic selection of locally-grown veggies including cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, green beans and more. Additionally, they have a bevvy of Idaho-made products like Cloverleaf Creamery ice cream, Reed’s Dairy milk, Ballard Farms cheeses and McIntyre Farms meat.Summer hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday-Sunday 10am-5pm
Blue Barn Produce: Set to re-open with regular hours on July 9, Blue Barn does currently have berries but they are only available by the flat. That may change over the coming weeks, you can always call ahead to find out. In addition to fresh produce, Blue Barn also has lots of Idaho products like Cloverleaf Creamery ice cream and Ballard Farms cheeses, as well as locally-produced bread from Kneady Bee Bakery in Parma, honey from Treasure Valley Bee Co. in Parma, pies from the Sweet Spot in Caldwell, pickles from Dilly’s in Boise and more. Oh, and not to be forgotten, their famous sweet corn will be available in August!
