As we descend into fall, the weather, the land, and the festivities have begun to match the impending season. Most AgVenture Trail members sold out of the produce and are beginning to close until next spring, but there are still several activities in Caldwell to keep you occupied.
Farm stands and orchards are beginning to end their harvests and close up shop, but there are still a few providing fresh produce and goods! Lakeview Fruits continues to supply an abundance of colorful corn, portly pumpkins, and just introduced their newest product: Coho salmon!
McIntyre Pastures open their turkey and beef sales today! Offering the direct sale of grass-fed, pasture-raised meats and eggs, McIntyre Pastures has supplied the Boise Valley since 1910, and is showing no signs of slowing down this season.
For all those festival lovers, look no further than Blue Barn Produce and Cherry Hill Farms for your corn maze, pumpkin patch, and other fall photo opportunities. Cherry Hill Farms festival has been hosting their festival since the harvest in early September, but it’s still going strong! With three different trails in their massive corn maze and farm-fresh produce, there’s fun for the whole family at their property!
Blue Barn Produce is throwing a community-wide event on October 15 to celebrate the new season. With food and craft vendors, fresh fruits and vegetables, and lots of pumpkins, this harvest festival offers a picturesque afternoon for all those involved.
If you’re still hoping to get your animal fix before winter sets in, book a goat yoga or goat paint party experience at The Goat Yard! With lots of furry, four-legged friends who cannot wait to brighten your day, there is no better way to spend a crisp evening in Idaho.
