Scoria

A pioneer in the Idaho wine industry, Scoria cultivates red wine varietals on a ridge overlooking the Owyhee Mountains in the Snake River Valley AVA of Southwest Idaho. Their vineyards, planted atop an ancient volcanic vent, are among the warmest sites in the Pacific Northwest. This unique location allows Scoria to properly ripen the long-hanging grape clusters of Petit Verdot, a rarity in the wine world.
