About Caldwell Fine Arts
Formed in 1961, Caldwell Fine Arts is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to presenting and promoting the fine arts, educating the community, and developing cooperative relationships for the arts in the Treasure Valley. We are passionate about making connections through the arts! We are delighted when multiple generations of a family attend a ballet together, community members from all walks of life sit side by side and enjoy world-class music, and cultures collide as we understand diverse people and places through the arts. We love to inspire local children by introducing them to new genres, providing hands-on opportunities to explore their talents, and giving them a chance to rub shoulders with exceptional makers and performers.
We present community performances in the beautiful 876-seat Jewett Auditorium on The College of Idaho Campus, and in the more intimate Langroise Recital Hall. We are also out and about in the community, sponsoring events at Indian Creek Plaza, local schools, nursing homes, parks, detention centers, and libraries.
The arts are the lifeblood of any area and add a vibrancy nothing else can duplicate. The economic impact of the arts is substantial and substantiated, but we seek for far more than that. We want to help provide the abundant life for all members of our community through performances and programs that are family-friendly, budget-friendly…and just plain friendly-friendly!
